It seems very common for confusion to be the result of unquestionably accepting the dogmatic beliefs that finite-tribal-deities are responsible for the existence of an infinite universe. Little wonder you can't make sense of it.

Consider the possibility that what is called "good" and "bad" are simply viewpoints taken when trapped within a dualistic world. Creating the ideas a "god" and "satan" conveniently accounts for the spectrum of behaviors alternating between the two poles. Perhaps the answer is to see what isn't bound by dualism. Perhaps the answer lies within oneself. Rather than continuing to restrict understanding to mind-dominated viewpoints with their inherent limitations, take an unconventional and courageous step by questioning the validity of the entity which entertains all dualistic viewpoints, the mind created separate sense of self. Without the separate sense of self duality vanishes, along with all ideas of god and satan. Discover the truth of this for yourself and wake up from the trance like state of "good and evil" that is fed by religions and philosophies.
