It was L O N G. Loads to think about.

Lots of extras. I think I watched them all. Interesting! I'd say this has to be in the library of serious students of the Witness group.

My favorite part was the Jewish Rabbi's part. My second favorite part was the Lady historian's comments.

I still have to read the booklet that came with the DVD.

I ordered it from their web page and got it in about a week.

I think it's well done. The producers obviously had high Watch Tower support for the project since they had the top Watch Tower lawyer and a Watch Tower vice president on lengthy interviews.

The Witness statements, like the blood teaching, seems like a public relations department sanitized statement. The elder says "We don't take blood in any form.". It seems to me a blood fraction like hemoglobin might be seen as "any form".

This thing contains a LOT of information. Lots to look at again and think about.

My perspective is I think it was well done. I don't know about positive or negative. I'll leave that to others. I'm biased, not objective on the subject.

It's a documentary. It did it's job. It documented things on tape. It's a source of information. I recommended it in my first post. I'll recommend it again. I'm glad I ordered it and glad I watched it and the purchase price was well spent by me.

I bought the Video years ago. Yes, I recommend the video. It's a piece of our history and an interesting piece of work.

My opinion is that, though it may be hard to sit through, it's important to at least be willing to try.

I am planning on seeing it as soon as possible in order to be armed with information. Stay informed and current to the events of the WTBTS.

I have the video "WITNESSES OF JEHOVAH" {"The film helpsyou know what to say instead of SORRY, WE'RE NOT INTERESTED"} made by Good News Defenders in La Jolla, Ca. { Interestingly enough, I used to go to La Jolla many-a-weekend when I was a jw. Had a friend who lived there on the weekends. Great town. Loved it. }

Also, the video "JW'S: Organization Behind The Name" and one from Freeminds entitled "COMING OUT OF THE WATCHTOWER-WHY SO DIFFICULT" {by Randy Watters and 50 former jw's}

I also have Randy's audio cassette called "What happened in 1980...Ray Franz"...LOL!! This is the tape I played on high volume as the jws who used to live across the street stood on their porch. Then later that night, left a tract on my porch. I took it, lit it on fire, and put it near their car parked by my house. {There's a thread on this in my posting history, if any are so inclined}

"KNOCKING" will soon be part of my collection and re-search.

I sent Anderson Cooper a pretty firm email on how DIShonest I think he is, as one of his avid viewers. And that by not getting the other side of THE STORY, he is misrepresenting and deceiving his audience. I directed him here, there and everywhere.

Hi Anderson!! Read the child abuse forum carefully. Then scandals. Then start contacting the Governing Body and press upon them the importance of giving the viewers THEIR feedback on the film...on your show.

THAT would be the honest and fair way to go. We shall see.
