The reasons you mentioned are first and foremost in my book. Then personally what I hated most was having been one for 32 years, the huge hole it made and left in my life.

I dislike their self righteous attitude, this viewpoint they have that you either agree with them or you're wrong, either. The elders in my kh were all like that.
Also, the way they think they have control over people, even when they leave. I remember being told by the po after I had handed my da letter in that I have a duty to infform any jw who tried to speak to me of my status as da'd so that they don't try to pursue a conversation with me. Needless to say, I haven't complied, but I think just about everyone around here knows now

Before the last school term started, several parents were phoning around because there was confusion over when the kids were due back.
The confusion was started by Mrs *****, the JW mother of one of my daughters class mates.
When I saw one of the other fathers ( non JW) down at the school gates on the 1st day of term he said " I was hoping they were going back yesterday but Mrs ***** got it wrong. Trust the bloody Jehovahs Witnesses to get their dates wrong, LOL"
It's not just dislike, a lot of people just think they're a joke.

That's what I hate the most. How delusional and arrogant they are. They seem to think that anyone who leaves the org must "know" it's the truth, and leaves for selfish reasons. What bullshit.

If they "love" you, they will "disfellowship" you, even if you're name is not announced. They feel that if they ignore you, you might want to come back.....How crazy is that??
