Yes, Emily, I would agree that humanity is conned in many ways, and has been for thousands of years.

You seem quite able to see manipulation on a shallow social/political level, yet seem totally and completely oblivious to the harmful manipulation of greed and fear introduced when reducing the Divine to an anthropomorphic-tribal-war-god which savages and kills those who do not adhere to a nonsensical agenda and rewards those who do. The Bible god is nothing BUT a device to con, divide and control the masses. A tool you seem quite happy to support and sale.
