How is this handled with parents who have children who left or never became jw's? Do they simply avoid the topic around such people?

    Mavie,

I guess a fetus really isn't human after all, the JW's have spoken.

Yes, I think it was a question from readers in a early 1970's WT. When I read it I was shocked and was surprised that they offered no real scriptural proof just dogma based on "because we said so".

i guess i never did enough research on this subject b/c i remember having conversations about aborted babies being ressurrected, but it was field service conversations, not "personal study" with WBTS publications. but then....if unborn babies never took the breath of life...then are they teaching unborn babies are not a treasured life....a gift from God worthy of a ressurrection?...then why are they against abortion, why is abortion is considered bloodguilty....that seems to go in circles to me...i guess some teachings should not be compared side by side if you want to stay under their thought control.

This was the first thing that upset me and got me thinking. I did the maths recently, and every day that Armageddon doesn't happen, Jehovah is going to have to kill another 210000 people. I asked my family about it; I knew how useless we were at preaching, and how could Jehovah judge people who never really got the message in the first place? Blank faces every time.

It makes it easier to let go of my family when I remind myself that they're happy about the destruction of everybody but them.

They obvisiously define unconditional love as judgement and death to the people who don't make the same sacrifices they do, and agree and obey them and how they think they should live their lives.

Kinda sick ain't it? I don't even think they realize what the hell they are really doing for real..kinda sad too imo.

Their words say "unconditional love" but their thoughts, actions, and intentions say judgement, punishment, and death to anyone who does not measure to their idea of a master race.

If Jesus was going to kill everyone..why did He bother dying to protect them..and beg for them to be forgiven and spared?

Can you forgive and condemn and it be the same thing?

This is why I decided that the God of the Bible is not the one I know or understand. I don't fully understand any of it, and I don't need to. I do know that that messed up idea of God was a reflection of men who are twisted, and not a perfect and loving creator. Therefore, the Bible God has no authority over me or my life or my children.

Mavie said: "What? This is amazing! I always thought that aborted and miscarried babies would be resurrected according to JW belief. I guess a fetus really isn't human after all, the JW's have spoken."

I am not sure of their teaching on the subject, but just think, if all those living on earth children can be killed because they were being raised by non-JW parents (who may be perfectly nice god fearing Baptists or what have you) how much MORE evil and deserving to not be resurrected are the children of parents who are EVIL enough to kill them in utero. They were doomed to be devils, right? UGH, religion is a sick thing sometimes!

Yeah, after a careful, concerted, and exhaustive search of the bible the gb of jw have come to the loving conclusion that all children who don't have jw parents plus those who run in the kingdom hall and those who don't study for every meeting and those who do study but don't offer meaningful comments at the meetings and those who while they may go out in field service from time to time but are not REALLY giving jehovah their all - you know who you are - will have to be destroyed by god, jesus, and the holy angels. But don't worry folks, this is the good news of the kingdom.

That is not my definition of "good news"...see how words have different meanings to different people.

What was Hitler's definition of "good news"..or "peace"?

I am pretty confident that his goals being met was his idea of peace on earth..although I don't think the Jews would have agreed...and would have defined his definition of peace on earth as "death".

How much different is the JW doctrine definition of "peace on earth" or "good news"?

or would all others define their defintions as "death" for them?

Abate the hate..or is too late for them to do so now?
