All the anointed I've met have been a bit goofy, and addicted to a substance of some kind, usually alcohol but a few on anxiety medications.

The qualifications for being one of the 144,000:
1. Must still be alive during the Great Tribulation
2. Must be a Jew
3. Must be an unbeliever
4. God will chose
5. Must be from one of the twelve tribes of Israel

Every Literature distributor's record (publisher card) identifies them as Other Sheep or Anointed. I may have missed my calling by starting a fade. Maybe I can backtrack and change to Anointed. After all, I meet the requirements:
the qualifications for being of the "anointed" are the same as being of the "other sheep." That is why it is possible for someone who was not of the anointed to get the "call" and start partaking.
They have to be dedicated, baptized JWs though.
(I am not seriously going to do it, but what could they do if I did?) That guy, Butters, would say he's up to the challenge, but I just want them to leave me alone.

What I like about the whole thing is that nobody's claims can be substantiated.
It cannot be proved or disproven whether or not somebody is of the "annointed". So, anybody can say they are. Of course, nobody will believe them and people will talk about them behind their backs - especially if they are on the "eccentric" side. Then people will just think they are fruit loops. I even had some annointed people tell me they didn't believe a certain other person was annointed. It left me thinking to myself: just who the hell do all these people think they are?
It all sounded so presumptuous to me.
