    But maybe it did.

I stopped praying years ago when I stopped believing in a god that's supposed to be out there somewhere. I've had many traumatic moments since, but it never even occurred to me to pray. So far, all has turned out well.

    Forget about faith, huh?

No I wouldn't, whatever the situation. I would rather look for a way out that had a chance of succeeding than waste time and words on a solution I know wouldn't work.

JWs are soooo into believing that Jehovah may answer your prayers as the "Hearer of prayers". But if you didn't get your answer, it's probably indicative of not doing enough to get God's blessing.

No. I'm a stubborn bastard and I wouldn't do it out of sheer bloody mindedness!

If I died and met Him on the other side I'd ask for death+ so I would'nt have to be anywhere near the sadistic, petty minded, vindictive little sod.

I definitely do. And I do pray to Jehovah, because that's how I know God. But I do NOT pray to him from a Jehovah's Witness perspective.

No. I pretty much have learned no one is listening. Better to use my own energies to find a solution. If it was a life/death situation, my answer would still be no at this point in the juncture. I don't see that changing.

Well it is just as well not many of you pray.Cos I think he is busy listening to me all day....I talk to him all day long... When I get into the car ,as I am driving, when I start to eat, when I go to bed, when i get up. I dont think I could handle life if I didnt have a real good friend in Jesus....

Watch it You lot !!!!!When you stone me I dont like it.Go stone someone else

"Jehovah" is a made-up name, which is why the WTS insists that you use it so you don't get through to God. It's like dialling a wrong number

Like Honesty and Grace, my prayers to Jesus have been consistently answered.

I like the statement by the old sage who said that he prayed like it was 100% God and acted like it was 100% himself. It works for me, and saves me from having to keep re-patching the ass of my pants through sitting around waiting for an answer
