So at the bookgroup, the study coductor gives us all a stern warning. If we receive a turkey - refuse it. Dont accept Xmas Dinner invitations from work etc. No as most of you know my wife is a loyal dub. Also I Just got a check in lieu of a Thansgiving Turkey from my boss. Last Xmas I got an extremly hefty Christmas bonus (many thousands of dollars) from my boss. So here is the poll (apologies to ozziepost)

Which of the following did my wife do?

1) Say "if you do not return that check I am going to report you to the elders"

2) Say "I think you should Return that check as Jehovah will be upset"

3) Accept the check

4) Accept the check and say "that will come in very handy" and she proceeds to call and thank my boss also.

Because it was in lieu of a Thanksgiving turkey, it probably amounted to less that $50..... so unlike a huge Xmas bonus which she would keep quiet about....I pick

Your bookgroup "conductor" "overseer" has overstepped his bounds. The wts does not tell you what to do in these situations. It's up to you whether you want to accept the money/turkey.
