Thanks for all the advice! I have the book Crisis of Conscience and I am reading it now! AS soon as Iam finished I will be giving it to him with a small note saying...from a genuine friend ...knowledge you need to know! If he does not read it like you say at least he will know it exists! So hurt and sorry for him..

It's sad for him, but he's an adult and he's supposed to be in charge of his life. In spite of everything, he really is the one responsible. He has chosen to believe it.
Fact; he doesn't deserve you. It will hurt for a while, but you'll have a much better idea now of what you need out of a companion.
