What stuck out first for me was that those leaving are compared to Satan in the opening paragraphs, and that comparison is made several more times in the article. As if everyone that is leaving has some nefarious plan for their lives and everyone who crosses their path!
I know it is nothing new - I think that article has been regurgitated with updated pictures at least a dozen times since I learned to read, but it still pains me to think about all of the people who lap it up and shun their families, and the pain that is caused by all this backwards drivel paraded as "advice."
