Hi Tyrone, welcome to the board. It's awful, what has happened to you. I remember when unbaptised people could be whatever was the equivalent of disfellowshipped, actually I remember people calling it 'disassociation' - what we would now call it when somebody quits as opposed to being fired. In the late eighties I recall a few people no longer being an 'approved associate', so it must have changed at some point then, going over my head.
