Did the JW's ever admit that they were wrong on something?

This is a very interesting topic for me - one of the ones that opened my eyes. The WT has, in effect, claimed infalability but refuses the responsibility that goes along with it. They are humans who refuse to be held accountable. And that position is unconsionable, even if they were God's mouthpiece. Didn't Jehovah send prophets to correct and reprove other prophets? Wasn't that the role Jesus played? The problem is that the WT Society is unable to recognize any other mouth as the reproval of God. They trully believe they have "been given all his belongings" and been found to measure up - therefore they are already kings ruling over their subjects. The problem is that they are all mass-delusional, crotchety old men, and none of this is true.

The old adage remains true: Power corrupts.

Mary, that WT headline looks like a setup for the Theocratic Warfare Strategy argument.

The WTS always blames erroneous policy or doctrine on "some" who at the time were either "overzealous", had "wrong expectations" or did not show discernment.

The myth perpetuated by the WTS is that:

    1. Truth originates from the nebulous organization.

    2. Error originates from imperfect people.

It doesn't click that the organization and the imperfect people are one in the same.

The one time in my 25 years of being a JW...I can remember 1 time they did admit they were wrong. So when I read that I GOT BAPTIZED!!!!It was when they said JESUS DID HAVE A BEARD----- They had always said HE DID NOT!!! Oh How I wished I never even cared weather he had a beard or not.... I would never had taken the plunge
