  I bought the book a day or two after it came out. As I said in Elsewhere's thread, the techniques in the book DO work, but they're useless for maintaining a LTR.

  I like reading stuff like this so I know the tricks men are up to.

  That's why I bought the book "The Rules - Time Tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right".

  The thing about the book "The Game" is guys will be copying the techniques word for word, and they will become as common as yesterday's pickup lines. The innovative ones will come up with their own openers, negs, and gimmicks. The best ones will work at the core making their own personalities naturally more attractive to women.

  Serendipity: Smart women like you are most vulnerable to their techniques. Their techniques were designed to win the hearts of intelligent women NOT the typical bar girls that are so ADD they won't get it.

  What impressed me is the amount of effort these guys put out to transform themselves and get over their fears of rejection.

  It takes 7 hours for the average Pick-Up artists to get a girl to bed. (Yes they really keep track of this stuff)

  Marriage is a real labor saver.

  Women have very little to fear. These guys want to entertain you. (Male Geishas) They are the good guys that will never rape.

  There are a couple of points that work, regardless of what you say etc.

  • A lot is about confidence, you need to be confident to approach people in the first place, and women like a confident (but not sleazy) guy.
  • You need to add value. Groups of people often go out together so are probably having a fairly mundane time. If you have something to say that is out of the ordinary it makes the night interesting for the group. Women love things like psychology, iridology, palm reading, star signs etc, where you look like you know something about them. A lot of this is all easy to learn as certain things are applicable to most people.
  • As soon as you see someone you like you have 3 seconds to approach them, otherwise you will chicken out, or they will catch you staring and think you are a pervert.
  • It is a numbers game, if you approach enough people without fear of rejection you will meet someone willing to spend time with you (JWs are particularly good at this as years of doorknocking helps overcome rejection fears)
  • Make sure you look like you will only be there a couple of minutes and are ready to leave, you want the girl trying to make you stay, not scared you will never leave
  • It is very effective to have a very brief introduction, ie light her cigarette, then leave. Later you can talk to her like you have something in common, but without her scared you will attach yourself for the night.

  I guarantee it works, people are very predictable.

  Proplog, Thanks for the compliment (I think). I can say that a pickup artist would tire of me because it takes a LOT Longer than 7 hours to get me into bed. So I guess I don't have anything to worry about.

  Is it a con when both people actually get what they want? Sounds like an ordinary transaction. And its not prostitution.

  Not every man wins the genetics game. Handsome, strong and tall.

  It seems married men owe it to their wives to spend a few hours each week really exciting them.

  How many of those genetic wondermen turn out ignorant, insensitive, and boring to the point of death.

  You'd be amazed at even yourself. I'm still blown away at how easy it is to get a woman in a committed relationship to cheat on her man (and I'm not referring to the experiences in the book, I'm talking about first hand experience). With me being married, I try to avoid initiating contact with the opposite sex when I go out. If a woman approaches me with ANYTHING, the game is afoot. It's an instant reaction that is part of my personality.

  Women who are in LTRs are easy to seduce, because they're so goddam bored with their AFC men. Suddenly, this guy pops into her presence who is full of personality and has a lot of interesting traits and she's immediately drawn to him. Apply some kino, back off when she starts with the ASD, and she's all yours.

  I've probably read and practiced more seduction material than most of the guys (and girls) on this site. The only thing I never really got into was NLP or Speed Seduction. That stuff takes a lot of time and practice to learn. I'd preferred to be out and about trying out new stuff immediately and having instant results.
