Why Do Muslims Come To The U.S.?

  America has world renowned universities and students from ALL OVER THE WORLD come to get an education in America. Why have you singled out Muslim students for coming to America to get an education? What about all the Europeans, Asians, Australians? Does everyone who gets an education in America have to stay in America? Is it ONLY Muslim students that party and behave like idiots in their youth? What really is the point you are trying to make with your post? (Please clarify)

  I really see no difference in the MINORITY of American bigots that see all Muslims as terrorist or people like pathofthorns that see all Americans as bigots.

  Please show me from my post where I even gave the impression that I feel "ALL Americans are bigots". I specifically stated "ignorant Americans are prejudiced against Muslims" . Certainly not all, but the ignorant.

  One of the first signs of prejudiced attitudes is the ‘them/they’ things. ‘Oh, what THEY do is …’ or ‘Is our education system really that appealing to THEM …’.

  Another is blatant ignorance of a group of people;

  After a life time of living in a cave and three years of living in the US I'm not so sure I'd be ready to immolate myself in the name of Allah.

  Amazingly we are dealing with individuals, but some people are too damn prejudiced to OPEN their bleeding eyes.

  Silverleaf stopped falling into this chasm; “Actually let me amend that - this is why the terrorists who wrongly call themselves Muslims come here.”

  The vast majority of any ethnic or cultural group who travel to another country do so for simple reasons; not to die, to get something better than they can get at home to go home with, or to live a life different from that they could live at home.

  What the desires of the small minority of criminal immigrants and aliens are is a completely different thing.

  Of course it’s easy to say Muslim and mean terrorist, to say Arab and mean enemy. But they are different things and only fools follow that road.
