Military reponse? Or lets not cause more violence

  What to do if you happen upon a peace rally by stupid naive hemp-shirt-wearing college idiots, to teach them why force is sometimes needed:

  1) Approach dumb rich ignorant student talking about "peace" and saying there should be, "no retaliation."

  2) Engage in brief conversation, ask if military force is appropriate.

  3) When he says "No," ask, "Why not?"

  4) Wait until he says something to the effect of, "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence."

  5) When he's in mid sentence, punch him in the face as hard as you can.

  6) When he gets back up to up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you, because that would, "be awful and he should not cause more violence."

  7) Wait until he agrees that he has pledged not to commit additional violence.

  Punch him in the face again, harder this time.

  Repeat steps 5 through 8 until they understand that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.

  and you could also "point out" to him something else.

  Ask him:
  "Do you UNDERSTAND WHY I just punched you in the face?"

  When he moans and bawls: "Noooo...",
  then tell him he has to understand the enemy before he can
  retaliate.

  Ask him:
  "Do you understand ME, the enemy?"

  When he groans: "Noooo...",
  you simply tell him he has to go conduct a government study in one of his college classes, with help from a professor, and once
  the study and analysis of "bboyneko", is completed-
  then, and ONLY THEN should he get back up with you for that punch.

  Introspection

  In the unlikely event that you actually try this, be careful who you pick unless you want to get your ass kicked. You never know who you might find there. One guy from my martial arts class went to an anti-war demonstration, and while he's not an advanced student he has some previous background, and he's also physically strong. It just so happens he also has first hand knowledge in dealing with militant Muslims while growing up. Of course, it's always easier to vent verbally online, and safer.

  Introspection, the story is just to make a point. I certainly didn't take it as something to literally try. Besides, if the martial arts person did retaliate the point would be made.

  Julien I don't think that's quite so. It isn't a matter of me hitting you and you hitting me, if someone is skilled enough they can throw you around and simply frustrate you, "make you" look bad and hurt your ego if nothing else. I certainly doubt anyone would actually try this physically, but that's kind of my point. First of all, talk is one thing and doing is another, and frankly responding and acting skillfully is not the same as "retaliation" as you guys are no doubt aware.

  If every person in the USA were a Jehovah's Witness, there would be no Jehovah's witnesses or WTBTS! The country would be over run by those like the Talaban or Sadam who would never allow the WTBTS to exist.

  Since the WTBTS does not feel it right to fight for such freedoms that allows for their very existence, they should pack up their crap and move to Iraq!
