  Let's not be misled. The link provided by ZEN is to a crowd who have this as one of their beliefs:

  Our job is research. It has brought to the surface that some "Christians" in high position condone: rock music, proven to be of satanic origin, homosexuality, abortion, divorce, communication with spirits, consulterers of spirits, necromancy, lying tongues, transexuality, thoughts and ways to oppress the poor, a heart with wicked imaginations, feet that be swift running mischief, bearing false witness, prostitution, conscious intentional falsehoods, following other gods, astrology, and not to forget, "that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God" (Luke 16:15).

  With a mindset like that, you'd have to view their Watchtower claims sceptically. Zagor has some cautionery words too.

  BTW this topic has been done to death in the past.

  I've been doing this research for several months now on the internet

  I think we gonna have to start a thread about how to judge reputability of information found on different sites. It reminds me of conversation I've had with this elder few years ago. He tried to convince me that UN was indeed planing to destroy religion. When he couldn't convince me he then admitted something that for the first time made me realize just how stupid and uneducated he really was. He went on explaining how in his 'serious research' few weeks ago (back then) he came across this web site that 'openly exposed UN intentions to destroy religion' but then added that web site was taken down by very next morning. I started laughing and asked him "who do you think took it down? An all powerful network of UN spies?"
  And that came out of mouth of a person that is suppose to lead 100 odd people in a congregation. And then WTBS dares to speak against education. Well here is a stickler for you WTBS these are kinds of morons that your 'education system' is producing. Why do you think that is? Presumably very high level and quality of your own education!?!?

  Individuals high up in the BORG have been Masons but I have yet found any proof that it goes beyond that, Russells family might have been very involved but no actual proof he was. We know his grave stone is that of a pyramid with the all seeing eye of GOD on top of it. Even here we do not know if Russel would have approved of this grave stone.

  

  The older Watchtowers had many masonic emblems on them like the Crown with the Cross. These emblems is the biggest evidence for me that leads me to think that at least Russel had past links too the Masons, even some buildings owned by the Society had masonic emblems on them. One can only assume a link this is by no means proof we can not read the minds of the the past leaders of the BORG so we do not know why they adorned the publication s and building with Masonic emblems

  I often see pics of various grave sites, emblems and so forth which have been reported to be connected with this or that New World Order, Masons and on and on. First of all, all of this "proof" is freeking OLD and it was customary to belong to such organisations and groups at that time frame in history. There is NOTHING modern or present -day to prove squat! .....as far as JWs are concerned. If you wish to talk about the people involved in politics,......well, that is a different matter. Plenty of up-to-date facts and video proof to convict most of them in a court of law............

  Nuff said!
