The single most useful question to ask when discussing symbolism (e.g. the crown and cross) is "is this symbol unique to the group?".
Had Russell used the square and compass I'd agree with you, but the crown and cross has had far wider usage than Masonic groups.

I had a friend an ex Elder that I had encouraged to register here and you guys did the same thing to him on his first post. He has never posted again and only read anything when I asking him too. He can not understand why I spend anytime posting here because he say's you apostates myself included are rude with your posts.

Perhaps it's because of wisdom that this poster's opening post (without introduction) was refuted in the way it was? After all, anyone 'joining' such a large and influential forum as this should at least have the common sense to do some research on JWD to see how it's benn discussed before.....over and over!!
When you've been here more than a few months you'll understand that not all posts are the genuine article. Could it be for example that this thread was not started to publicise another site? We call that spamming.
