I have been out of the org a long but i doubt they would Df you for it. Most likely a good talking too and how you have joined a false evil religious place.

Yes you will be disfellowshipped for joining the Y. It is a christian religious organization associated with false religion. Ofcourse it's ok of the WTS joins the UN but you will be DF'ed for joining the Y.

Yes, if the elders found out you had joined, they would most certainly df you. Remember, you can't join a "worldly" organisation unless it's to obtain a library card.

You may even try using the UN thing to your advantage.....
If they can enter into a reciprocal agreement with an entity that is "clearly" condemned by God for just a library card, I suppose you could do the same for just using the shower....

Yes you will, but you could always say you were just joining to use the pool, ya know, kinda like the library at the UN thing.

They were an NGO with the Un for 10 years so I guess you have 10 year membership to the YMCA.

Join the Y and if you get caught...tell them your only using the Gym and the swimming pool. If they give you any crap, be ready to show the elders where the Society were NGO members so they could use their library for research purposes.
I doubt anyone would know you joined unless you were seen entering the place or leaving it since you won't find any witnesses there.....and if you do, they ain't gonna tell on ya.

Unless something has changed since I left the Org in 95 you definitely would be disfellowshipped for joining the Young Men’s Christian Association.
