Could you guys (or someone) tell me if you (JWs) believe in these doctrines??? (or at least point out the ones you do believe, if not all of them)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. Jesus is a creature made by God.
    2. Jesus is Michael the Archangel.
    3. Jesus Christ resurrected as a "spirit being."
    4. Jesus Christ returned invisibly to Jehovahs Witnesses only.
    5. Jesus Christ was only a man, not God incarnate.
    6. The Holy Spirit is an active force and not Deity/God.
    7. Hell is only the grave.
    8. There are only 144,000 spaces in Heaven.
    9. Salvation only comes through the WBTS.
    10. Salvation only comes through energetic work(through the WBTS).
    11. Satan is the author of the confusing Trinity.
    12. Jesus Christ can't be worshipped, only Jehovah can.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    thanks for your help! :)

You can also add to your list that JW's believe Jesus is the mediator for only the 144,000 going to heaven, and those 144,000 are the mediators (of course streamlined through the GB of the JW's therefore the WTBS) for everyone else on earth. Therefore the average JW can't go to God directly (or via Jesus).

Jesus Christ returned invisibly to Jehovahs Witnesses only.
Salvation only comes through energetic work(through the WBTS).

A true JW believer would say that Jesus returned to everyone.
Only JW's knew that he was here.

A true JW believer would say that salvation if a gift from Jehovah,
it cannot be earned through work, but Jehovah tells us that we
should work to prove our faith, and he rewards the faithful-
    Circular reasoning.

    1. - "creature" is a somewhat bad word, but Jesus was the first "thing" created by God.

    2. Yes.

    3. yes.

    4. No.

    5. "only a man" bad wording, he was a perfect man, parallell to pre-sin Adam.

    6. yes.

    7. yes, although "hell" would be the second death, from where there is no resurrection, whereas there is a resurrection from the grave.

    8. If one refers to resurrected human beings, yes, but there are millions of spirit beings, angels.

    9. No, it comes only thru Jesus Christ.

    10. No, it is a free gift from God thru Jesus Christ and has nothing to do with works.

    11. In a way, although I would not put it like that, but it comes from various non-Christian sources.

    12. Again in a way, but the wording is bad, because it makes it seem as if Jesus is nothing at all, but he is our redeemer, the Channel, and as such I guess I would say that it is as close to worshipping as one can get without infringing upon God's right to be the only one worshipped. Both yes and no.

Old Hippie, I think Hell (Hades) is the common grave and Gehenna is the everlasting destruction place from which there is no resurrection.
