Check out this email I got from a JW today:
The Recall of All Humans
IMPORTANT RECALL : VISIT YOUR LOCAL KINGDOM HALL!
The maker of human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary central component, or heart. This is due to a malfunction in the two original prototype units, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units.
This defect has been technically termed, "Subsequent Internal Non-morality," or more commonly known as S-I-N, as it is primarily recognized by loss of moral judgment. Some other symptoms are:
(a) Loss of direction
(b) Foul vocal emissions
(c) Amnesia of origin
(d) Lack of peace and joy
(e) Selfish, or violent, behavior
(f) Depression or confusion in the mental compartment
The manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory authorized repair and service, free of charge, to correct this S-I-N defect, at numerous locations throughout the world.
For more information, see the owners manual, (the Holy Bible). For further assistance, visit your local Kingdom Hall.
WARNING: Continuing to operate the human unit without correction voids the manufacturer's warranty, exposing the owner to dangers and problems too numerous to list, and will result in the human unit being rendered permanently inoperable.

"Subsequent Internal Non-morality," or more commonly known as S-I-N,
So all who don't attend meetings are immoral? Aren't they just high and mighty.

The utter childishness and intellectual vacancy of JW internet humor never ceases to amaze me. This was probably written by someone in Colorado who got snowed in and couldn't go to their job at the rubber chicken factory.

Kind of funny and shows how they think-which is truly scary.

"The manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect..."
And that right there is one of the many (if not the primary) inconsistencies in the Christian worldview. -

Gag is right. I just can't think this way anymore.

Clever marketing. It's cute, but it fails to mention that its just a fairy tale. Why would we need to carry around a leather-bound book of oftentimes confusing and contradicing references to the words of long dead fellow humans when all we need to do is spend five minutes staring into a beautiful sunset. I tell you what, I'm a lot more appreciative of how amazing life is by the latter than the former.
