Nope. Just the thought of reading any JW literature nauseates me.

I think it's useful for people like Blondie and others to be "in the know" by reading some of the material, that way they can help others who may be questioning. I personally will "retrieve" magazines from various laundromats, gas stations, etc etc etc, I may flip through them occasionally, but I usually run them through a paper shredder, or save them for special occasions----------- (Apostafests).

I'm not an apostate. However, I did escape from a cult of over 6 million of them a few years ago.
I quit reading apostate materials after I escaped from a cult of over 6 million of them a few years ago.
Ocassionally, I research the doctrines of a cult of over 6 million apostates but the information I have is old and outdated truth and is no longer valid for teaching, reproving or setting matters straight.

Mate, I didn't read if for the most part that I was in, why would I want to read it now???
The only time I really read thier literature was before I even started bible "study" with dubs. Once I became fully fledged member, slowly but surely I read less and less till I didn't see any point in doing it anymore

I could hardly read it when I was in, so I wouldnd, couldnt read it now. When I read Blondies review even that makes me sick and I rarely read through it. Sorry Blondie no reflection on you.

No. I don't even own anymore literature, except for a NWT and Reasoning book. I prefer the "clean house" method.

I still have some mail delivered to my old home address in another city, which my mom forwards to me. Of course, she puts in the latest Asleep and CrapTowers along with the other mail. Sometimes I skim through them just for shits and giggles.....LOL..... Always a good reminder of how ridiculous it all is....

I get the occasional magazine and I'll skim through them just to see what, if anything, has changed.
A family member always gets me the latest releases from the conventions. Again I'll skim through them just enough to be thankful that I don't have to belive that crap anymore.
I still have my library of WT publications. I hardly look at them, but they're there for reference should I need it.
I got 4 copies of the new brochure about the end of false religion. I read the first one and kept it for future reference...like say in 10 years when "false religion" is still here...but the other three found the trash can.
I don't consider myself an Apostate as the WT describes an Apostate. I guess, technically speaking though, I am apostate since I have left the faith and no longer hold to the teachings. As for those who are in the Apostate "movement" to either help others find freedom from the WT or to help discredit the WT, it is smart to keep up with what they print. Patton beat Rommel because he had read his book and came to know how Rommel would react to certain things. Keep your friends close, your enemies closer kinda thing.
