very interesting info here guys:)
as this is in my town it is a very big story,,,,,the jw part is new to me....we have had many news reports from very educated people across canada saying that they would not keep the 6 babies in there full term, due to the almost guaranteed medical problems they will have..
this will be good to follow, i wonder where they are actually from

just found this info
Here's what neonatologist Dr. Brian Lupton could offer...
"…born at BC Women's Hospital, to who I cannot tell you. What kind of condition are they in? The family has not given permission unfortunately to release any particular information about the patients."
Lupton says the babies have an 80 per cent chance of survival.
He says they are being accommodated in the nursery at BC Women's Hospital

I have no problem with this myself. But if you create something in an environment that cant support it you have killed it yourself.
I disagree with using the word "killed" in this instance. It is entirely possible to keep these embryos frozen for a long time (just ask Celine Dion) and implant them at a later time. Her first child was conceived via an IVF procedure, and according to her interviews, another embryo from that same procedure is waiting for her.

Killed as in Biblically killed.
To me its only a cluster of a few hundred cells. -

Being a JW I doubt she would terminate any of the babies, regardless of how far along she may have been.

Very interesting topic. I wonder if one of them were infertile or sterile. I thought that the Witnesses viewed invitro fertilization as adultery if the sperm didn't belong to the father. I once heard another "sister" say it was like incest where it involved receiving fertilization with a family member/donor's sperm or eggs.
What does questions from readers say about this?
