Wow! Great movie.
I remember what they called their 'Damascus' experience - they requested membership of the Evangelical Alliance and there were more than a few raised eyebrows plus loads of debate as to whether they had really changed!
I get the Plain Truth magazine, it has some good, well-researched articles in it and importantly leaves the reader open to draw their own conclusions.
I hate to say it, but these people have traded one dependency for another. Sure, they were in a cult. Now they are in another, less demanding one. It's the cult of emotional dependence on others to validate their existence. I don't trust any one of these religions. Why did God allow them to languish so long before he "called them to freedom"? the whole religion game is a load of hoo doo.
