Greetings Madame Quixote,
It's the same old same ole. Kids today are used to having things handed to them. I've bought two different automobiles outright, for two of my sons. The result.... total neglect and UNappreciated. They ran the damn things into the ground. I'd never buy for them again (BIG MISTAKE), or co-sign a loan for them ever.
As far as your daughter getting a loan from your witness parents. That will be a challenge. You know what dubs think about anyone who doesn't dress the same way, or think like them. "She doesn't go to meetings, why should we do anything for her" mentality.
My advice is for her to go to a bank. If at 1st she doesn't succeed in qualifying for a loan. Then she should continue to try. Banks are in the business of lending money. Or as has already been posted, for her to apply at one of the cardealerships and perhaps they can help. They need every sale they can get their hands on!
