Several years ago my stepgrandma, an Old Regular Baptist from Eastern Kentucky said something that shocked. At that time I was very anti-taxation for the churches. She told me that she sees no problem with churches being taxed, because Jesus said render unto ceasar ceasars things, and God things to God, since money is an invention of ceasar, she saw no problem with the churches being taxed. I now agree with that line of thinking. I do think Churches who provide some kind of humanitarian service such as food banks and homeless shelters should receive some kind of exemption, because they at least provide something tangible to the communities.

The Watchtower Society and its supporters consider themselves the "scorpions" or "locusts" of Rev. 9:7. Talk about illusions of grandeur. They don't realize that the only beings with golden crowns in the Book of Revelation are heavenly, not earthly. See Rev. 4:4 and 14:14 Rev. 9:7 is referring to fallen angels, not Jehovah's Witnesses.
