Seems like this was asked before, but what the heck.

Was tired of the churches always asking for money and not getting into the Bible. They offered a Bible Study and the hope of a Paradise on earth was appealing also.

When first started going people were very friendly. Went for 21 years and the light kept getting brighter and brighter so that I could see I needed to get out to preserve my sanity.

well - i was going thru a mini-down period in life - broke up with this girl/ car had broke down - everything seem 2 not be working out, so i said let me try a study at the urging of a cuz & 2 years later baptized...

finally saw the light & left the place.
