NO, to ever carry that much weight around to wish someone dead and then do it, I would think the person doing it is already dead. To much to life and others out there to appreciate you as a person to hate and kill someone else. Be the bigger person.

It's not always about hate, look at the climate we're all living in right now. In London last year an innocent man was killed by an armed policeman because the officer genuinely believed that the man was a terrorist about to detonate a bomb which would likely kill dozens of innocent commuters.
If you were that officer would you have pulled the trigger? It turned out to have been a horrible mistake, the man Jean Charles de Menezes was guilty of nothing but the logic remains that sometimes truly awful decisions must be taken.
For those who say they could never kill - what if Mr Menezes had been a terrorist? Would you have wanted the officer to take your attitude and not shoot? What if you or someone you love had been on that train?
I couldn't knowingly cause the death of another human being, I would never get over the guilt.
i wouldn't want to be able to do it with words, it should be hard for a person to do, like strangling someone would be hard, that way it wouldn't be such a carefree thing that you would actually kill everyone you might think about killing.
What if a person raped or killed one of your kids?

You didn't actually make the statement, but this part of the question implies a prescient ability as well. IOW If I knew in advance that Pol Pot would cause the brutal deaths of over 1.5 million people, the question almost becomes a no-brainer. I'd do it and sleep like a baby. My only reservation would be over whether this would somehow make things worse instead of better.

To Out of Service............Yes I would try and stop someone from hurting my children. With the least amount of violence as possible.
Once you start that "eye for an eye stuff" it is hard to stop.........just look at our world. I think the movie "Munich" said it to well.
