Salmon, Why don't you say how you really feel! LOL

About 25 years ago I felt the same way and I went through with it. No regrets. BUT I can't tell you how many times I wished I had DA'd myself instead of the way I left. I made them fire me when I should have quit. I was in a very hyper emotional state because of dawning realization that I had spent my whole life inside a hybrid Book publishing Corp./Religous Cult. I had also spent five straight years setting on the JC and had been up to my eyeballs as an enforcer for the gang in Brooklyn.

It's good that you've got your blood up. Why not make the most of your departure with a well planned DA campaign? Takes a lot of guts. If you need suggestions on how or what you can could do just post a topic on it here and I guarantee in 24 hours you'll have a whole menu of ways you can help others through your public disassociating.
