Hey,
That's awesome Jeeprube. My hat off to you, I'm quite dense at math, in fact I had to drop calculus and right now I'm taking "Evaluation of Evidence," a sociology course that my school accepts to satisfy our QR/Math requirement...so far so good...PTK is cool, I bought some merchandise from them and for my 2-year graduation party, some friends bought me a PTK hooded sweatshirt which I wear alot. It almost felt like getting inducted into a secret society...kinda cool.
Now I'm a junior and I just declared the creative writing major. It was a difficult decision since I was also interested in Poli Sci, Anthropology or Environmental Biology/Sustainability. That latter two required a few math courses so I chickened out. I love writing tho and I figure I can write about the environment, people and politics. I'm interested in non-fiction/journalism, but some creative writing courses I'm taking have sparked an interest in screenwriting. My school doesn't offer a non-fiction major except for English and Comparative Literature....(which I found stuffy and boring at my school).
My dilemma right now is whether to pursue grad school, perhaps we discuss this on the discussion board. I didn't plan ahead really and not sure which direction I really want to go. I begged my parents to let me attend college and of course I couldn't, so I pioneered instead. Finally I'm doing it and although I'm in my mid-30s, it's great but alot of work. Here's the group info.
