  Got my nose pierced today.

  My goodness. It hurt like hell.

  But it looks kewl.

  I'll snap a pic when I get some batteries in my camera.

  I finally decided to just do it.

  I went into Eternal Tattoo in Livonia, MI.

  Asked how much. Asked what they do. (needle and cork and lots of pain) and paid to have this girl hurt my nose.

  I sat back. She told me to close my eyes, after giving me a paper towel and warning me my eyes would water, HA! YES they watered, I wanted to weep like a newborn babe. And then it felt like she had taken her fingernails and pinched me as hard as she possibly could.

  Then to top it off, she reaches into my nose with these little pliers and twisted the post.

  And then it was done.

  A little blood.

  But when it was all said and done...

  I'd do it again.

  But I called my husband and told him that when I get my eyebrow pierced he will be there holding my hand, after we have successfully thrown back a few drinks.

  I had my lip pierced and it was PAINFUL!
  
  they had to do it twice cause it was crooked. My eyes watered and it bled- I don't have it anymore, but first I had a ring then I got a stud with an orange crystal.

  I had mine done a couple of years ago, and I agree, it hurts like a sonofa!!!!! Especially when you sneeze, or get a nose twitch...pain pain pain. But, it was cute. Can't wait to see pics!!!

  Girl! You're braver than me! I have my ears pierced (two wholes in each ear) that's about it for me. I got tears in my eyes just thinking about it!

  yeah, it hurts like a sonofa alright.

  I just checked it in the mirror and there is still a little bleeding, but hardly any.

  I had to do a cleaning job right after and while there had to sneeze. I have never been so afraid of sneezing in my life! lol

  freedomloverr: I'm sorry! I know we had talked about doing it on the same day, but today just sort of had the right mojo feeling to it. (mojo, where did I come up with that?)

  RAF: Well, the batteries are coming and probably later tonight or tomorrow I'll post pics.

  Kudra: Lip piercing. Oh ouch ouch and more ouches! But dang that would look cool!

  Mama: yes pain. I sat there wondering for a brief moment WHY I had paid to have someone torture my nose.

  MrsMcD: Ya know I had this cute little vision in my head of getting my nose pierced. I thought, it can't be much worse then getting your ears pierced. HAHA. I could not have been more wrong. As for bravery. At the time I considered it stupidity, now, bravery seems to fit well, thank you!!

  GGBG: Ok, I'm looking at your pic w/ ofg and am not seeing it. But you have such a cute little nose. pretty face, it's gotta look stunning. btw you two make a gorgeous couple.

  It looks good! Not swollen are nothing - as far as I can tell. You look cute all ready!
