Hey I just got back from work (cleaning houses, well a house. A big ass house some 2200 sq ft)
I woke up this morning and cleaned my nose the way I was instructed to and was pretty psyched. It looks really cool and feels way better.
I had a few nose twitches but it's not that bad. The woman I cleaned for came home from work to get something and I could see her looking at it but she didn't say anything, she sort of grinned.
Other then that, it's much better today!!! And was well worth the pain

If I got my nose pierced I would go for the septum piercing or a surface bridge piercing. Nostril has always been too girly for me :) looks good on you though. My eyebrow bled a lot when I got it though it didn't really hurt that much. It was pretty scabby and that area is hard to keep clean with ingrown hairs and such which can cause nasty red bumps that take forever with good care to get rid of. I also have two lip piercings, both of them swelled. One swelled really badly because the girl pinched my lip with the pliers by accident and I had to get a larger post put in twice because it was cutting into my lip from the swelling pressure. I also have 5 piercings in my earlobes and my ear cartliage (helix) pierced. My ears I stretched myself to a reasonably think 8g but not to huge see through proportions.
Congrats on the piercing.

I can't get my nose pierced it would just look too wrong, but I got my navel pierced sometime between 23 and 25. I wanted my nose pierced but as I was still associating it wouldn't have gone down too well.
It's not too bad but it can take a LONG time to heal (3-6 mths). Also I didn't realise how much you move your torso! My recommendation is not to do what I did which was to drive there and back. Get driven or walk or use public transport but don't drive. It hurt to change gears and turn on the radio, I listened to the same station for weeks. I suppose if you don't drive stick it wouldn't be so bad.
After the first day or two it was fine, it did get a bit infected but I just had salt baths.

ok now you have me seriously rethinking the brow piercing! I thought of a lip piercing. The girl who pierced me had the skin right below her lower lip pierced with a little stud, that looked really cool.
You sound like you have some seriously wickedly cool piercings! You go girl!

Yeah I think this is how it started for me, the train of thought anyway. I had wanted to get my navel pierced when I was a jw and figured that I could hide it really well. Then I left and it didn't matter anyway.

Oh yeah, see now that I know what it's like to have a body part Other then my ear pierced through with a needle, I'm making my hubby come with me from now on!!! For moral support at the very least!!
Cool ...
Checked the pic, that tiny thing looks good on your nose !Thank you RAF! I was feeling rather good today. At least til we had to deal with my jw brother...that's a whole other story though

I pierced my nose when I was 20. Let me tell my age by a bit now. I am 36 now. I had it done twice and it has been closed up a bit. My navel was done when I was maybe 24.
I have a sack of nose jewelry and I recently tried to pierce it back thru, but drank too much and forgot to finish what I started once I got the needle thru.
I did have a 2nd naval piercing since when I was a baby...and when I had a surgery recently...the doctor took it away.
Anyday now I am going to finish my nose again. I miss it.

So you had your nose done twice? Same side? Oh man, I know yesterday I swore to myself Not to let this thing close up, because if I did, I don't know if I would go through it again.
