Actually, I think it is pretty common for people to spell part of their name incorrectly. I think, anyway. Well... I used to think so.. sort of...

Congratulations Renee on your upcoming wedding!
I remember when I was doing secretarial work (w/impending marriage) I was a basket case. I couldn't remember my own name either and had a very hard time concentrating! Made so many errors in typing and keeping things straight w/clients. Bosses just laughed it off. And clients thought it was funny and cute. Thank god!
Don't worry. It's the stress. It gets better! Until you reach your mid 50's then it goes down hill again!! lol

You're not losing your mind, arranging your wedding can be stressful, as well as fun of course. I'm getting married this year myself, so I speak from experience. I must admit, I did have a giggle about your little mistake though.

Any business that has anything to do with weddings has seen/heard it all!! I'm sure you're not the first - it's a very stressful time planning a wedding. Don't feel bad about it, laugh at it, and make it an amusing story for your wedding speech!
As for your parents names not being on the invite - I don't see anything wrong with it. They don't seem to be a part of your life, and that sadly is their loss. Maybe seeing the invite will make them notice just what they are giving up.
