  I didnt read the whole thread, sorry

  I sent an email to one of the newspapers, and put in a comment I read a long time ago on here.

  "The jw's wont take whole blood, but are allowed to take fractions of blood, just not all fractions at the same time!"

  My comment was this which I read from a poster here

  "taking fractions of blood could be compared to this: Someone offers you a ham and cheese sandwich with mayo on white bread, but tells you you cant put them all together, that you have to eat them all seperately!"

  Actually, you can take all of the fractions (ie. blood products) from the donated blood supply at the same time but you need them transfused into you separately.

  Also intraoperative autotransfusions are okayed by the leadership
