Sex in the Organization

  I have been associated with the organization for almost 40 years. I have served and been on several assemblies. I am now irregular, but still attend meetings occassionally. I have known many women in the congregations that I have been associated with that were sexually active. Single pioneers were the worst. They would comment, be on assemblies and were outstanding examples, but would definitely have their needs satisfied.

  As a youth, many had sex, but someone would always tell the elders and their would be a massive DFing. On one occassion, 6 of my friends were DF at once. In one area of CA, I noticed wife swapping was more common. Other times people would get bored and creep out on their mate. These also were usually discovered after a year or two. A few elders' wives would deny sex with other men, but admit to just dinner or holding hands to get private reproof. Through the years, the single pioneer sisters that I know, have had relations with men for many years, never to be discovered.

  In my area parties are also common. After drinking and dancing and most of the GOOD J-Dubs leave, I have noticed and heard about many odd things happening around the hot tub with the remaining clique. Including complete nudity. NO ONE TALKS about it. I have known of several of these cliques through the years.

  Did these things happen when you were associated with the org? Questionable Parties?

  Is this common in your area, active JW women having sex and never being discovered? Wife Swapping?

  wife swapping i have been unaware of. but the rest, for sure man. humans are humans. rules get in the way.

  it seems like the only parties where anyone had any fun were questionable.

  Same here. I know some JW's like to drink.......alot. That sex thing might happen occasionally, but it's not rampant in the congregations.

  Save, How do you know this, if they the single pioneers had all this sex and never were discovered?

  I knew of a few couples who did the swapping thing even went so far as to make a video tape of it which is how they got caught. One of their children put the tape in not knowing what was on it and was so disturbed by what she saw she called her grandmother (who was babysitting at the time) in and the rest is history. Two disfellowshipped and two reproved of the four participants. None of them are JW's now however.

  I've known of menage de twa (sp?) which caused the wife to be so jealous of the other woman she shot her husband over it. He didn't die but she did go to jail and was DF'ed for shooting him.

  In this same area of California as each batch of teenagers came along we always had the "sex" talks and there were lots of teens in bunches DF'ed at a time or publicly reproved. Most all of the Elder's kids were sexually active and only a few were able to be married in the KH. It started to be trendy to have you whole wedding ceremony and reception at the local Country Club or the Recreation Hall. LOL Trendy, gotta love the way they spinned it!

  Alot of the Pioneers™ in the area were the kids of Elders and they are the same kids mentioned above. Most of the time the Elders kids would be privately reproved whereas the R&F kids would be publicly reproved or DF'ed. So I rather guess we did have some sexually active Pioneers™. LOL

  Where I was (for seven years) there wasn't much hunky punky going on between the baptised at least as far as what got to be known. An elder and an elder's wife got DFed for adultery also a ministerial servant and a JW woman whose husband was not a JW. She was made pregnant by him.

  Bikerchick, "menage de twa" is in fact "menage a trois" which means a threesome having sex. Very naughty for a JW.

  Since the late 90s I think it has become less common to have massive DFings of teenagers. I did see them sometimes when I was a kid in the 90s. But now, not so much. Before I got Dfd, I got to know some of my ex's teenage friends and I was shocked. Almost all of them had done stuff and more than once. Commonly oral sex a lot of the time. Maybe not intercourse. And some of them were baptized and done it 5 or 6 times and not Dfd at all. Some congos play favorites.

  Another thing I notice is if you were active, commenting, out in field service, etc. Even if you were doing something wrong you got the slap on the hand reproof a lot of times. Even though being a hypocrite with the pioneer attitude of perfection.

  When I started having sex I stopped all the things I did that were responsibilities in the congregation, I stopped commenting and going in field service. Why would I? I mean that would make me such a hypocrite to pretend that I was this perfect little pioneer. But I got Dfd for it, I can't help but wonder if I was doing all those things if I would have just got a slap. Hmmmm.

  I am also curious, How do you know about the pioneer sister doing it for years and "it being undiscovered?"

  As for sexual indiscretations in the Org: no more and no less than anywhere else. Perhaps the pretense of piety is greater, but not the practice.
