I dream 2-5 dreams a night....usually unpleaseant, a-lot of going back to the cult....to get my daughter back....Fighting with my dub mom, and for some reason cats attacking me.....and I can't get away!

    Some dreams are fun...but, rare.

I know God does not speak to me in my dreams!

    I woke up this morning in the midst of a reoccurring dream I have about JWD and some of the posters here, LOL I totally forgot about this dream probably because it's been maybe a year since I've dreamt it. But here it is;

If you remember the poster and ex moderator on JWD Valis he is the main character in my dream and he is dressed like a devil all in red even his dreadlocks are red. He has a mask on, red tights and some shiny red rubber boots with little yellow glow in the dark stars on them and carries a big red pitchfork, also has a tail with an arrow shaped point which he wags back and forth slapping people with it.

The scenario goes like this; we (many JWD posters) are sitting at this very long table and Valis places a pan of enchiladas in the middle of the table and begins to serve them to everyone on paper plates which get scorched by his touch. When he places a plate in front of me I look at him sigh and say "where's the beans and rice?" he jumps up on the table top and starts to rant, "beans and rice, beans and rice she wants beans and rice! You ingrate!" Then a poster named searcher says; "give her a beer and she'll be happy." Valis in an evil laugh hands me a beer so okay I shut up and start to drink the beer.

He then places a plate in front of Angharad and she says; "Where's my salad?" Again he starts to rant; "she wants a salad, she wants a salad, there will be no salad and no beer for you!"

In this dream a poster named D8TA is teasing Valis by pulling on his tail and taunting him and Valis is always trying to slap him with his tail but D8TA manages to stay clear of it and it becomes a pissing match between the two of them during the whole dream.

I see many faces of JWD (posters) sitting at the table eating their enchiladas and saying how wonderful they are and are having visions, I'm not having the same experience and I get mad at Valis because he's left me out of the experience. He tells me I'm eating from the same dish as everyone else to open my mind to the experience.

Then I always wake up. Darn!

I think I dream at least five dreams a night. I have seen several people say they dream in color..........I always do.....people dream in black and white?

I usually remember alot of my dreams. My favorite part? When I have a really good dream, and wake up before I wanted to, and can go back right where I left off. One dream I went back 3 times! (yes, it was a doozy of a dream!)

As a kid, I had demon dreams also. Same one over and over that my closet door would fly open with wind and creepy voices coming out of it. Looking back now, I think it was what was pounded in my head from the jw's.

I dream lots and always in colour.

The subjects and how much they disturb me varies but i do believe in the idea that while you sleep, your brain is doing a knd of 'spring clean' and if you can remember them, they will often have some connection to what's going on in your life. The best/most amusing one I think back on at the moment is dreaming that I went to an Apostafest - I recorded that on 21st March last year, an unlikely event for me as I didn't know we had them in the UK plus I'm not ex-JW. In October I found myself at the curry night

Part of my therapy is to write as much detail of my dreams in a journal - if you can motivate yourself to do it, it can be very revealing - I find common themes/worries in mine. The best way is to write them down as soon as possible after you wake up.

I go with Jung on this issue, dreams is the unconscious mind talking to us in a symbolic language and to a lesser extend they are wish fulfillments as Freud believed. By understanding their language we can learn a lot about what goes on in our lives. I also noticed that dreams can lift up or depress our mood.

So funny that you should bring this up! Had my HongKong re run dream last night. It's an Asian woman, myself and another friend trying to get out of HongKong. It's a chase dream and we have to be very resourceful of keep from getting killed. Actually it's a very frightening dream. "Bad guys" appear as your friends.

We do get rescued in the end by a helicopter as they fire on us. Would make a good movie.

I don't think it's a good sign that you dream about a forum. I ain't trying to be mean, it's just that the same thing happened to me when I was on a now-defunct videogame forum. I put so many posts on there, I would have dreams about topics and it ocurred to me that I should be doing other things with my time than posting so much.

I guess I really haven't learned from that, seeing as how I'm starting to rack up posts here too...
