I agree about the problem with people standing in front of you. We try to get seats above on the side never on the floor. Or I sign up for the disabled seating. Blondie

Just caught a quick glimpse of the Grammy's gig.
Sting's voice has lost none of its power and range. Cool indeed!

And it was invigorating to see Stewart Copeland in the drum kit behind Sting....whooo-yeah!! :)

On UK job applications forms there is often the question - Do you have a police record? If so please give details....Some people have been known to put answers such as -
Yes - Walking On the Moon

Oh I love JWD!
Been so busy I'd missed this.
First Album I ever bought was Reggatta de Blanc.
Already set up my google email alert for UK tour news.
Not really like me to do this but:
What's your favourite tracks? Lets say single and album track.
Mine are "Can't Stand Losing You" and "Bring on the Night"

i was never a huge police fan...but that was more of an obtuse reaction to not wanting to follow the crowd
loved sting though...probably for the very same reason at the start
seen sting several times..and met him in borders in glasgow..
i doubt i would make a huge attempt to get tickets to a reunion but i would go if they were affordable
my favourite police song is 'synchronicity 2'
another favourite is a song called 'low life' which i think was a 'b' side and was also on the 'bring on the night' live sting cd..but i lost it and now i cant find it...which kinda sucks

Jim Whitney - when you say you lived through the 70's what does that mean? Did you turn off all forms of entertainment media for the 80's, 90's and noughties never to dabble in it again?!!
Tij - what is borders in Glasgow?

crump...borders is a book shop with a cafe and a music department that also does things like readings (saw will self there once reading an excerpt from his latest book), book signings, coffee house music - jazz, acoustic, piano
bit like waterstones....but better
i was in the shop when sting was book signing and so went up to the top floor to see what was happening, decided to get the book. joined the queue and got it signed, had a wee chat (tho hes not that talkative) and then left...all in about 15 minutes. as i left via a different exit i noticed that the queue was winding all the way round the shop hidden by book shelves, down the 3 flights of stairs and out of the door..some people had been waiting for hours..i had just jumped the queue.
