I likewise thank Blondie and Mary for all their expertise in WT lingo and info but I don't think any of us would make it as elders anymore, not enough yes and to much no.

No elder body would want ANY woman to be on their same level. But they would be viewed with jealous awe.

I am sure there are very many capable women like Blondie and Mary who are quietly supporting their elder-husbands in their work. I suspect a lot of the administrative work is dumped on them.
Elders? What about Circuit Overseers?

Believe me, I never gave the elders cause to think I was other than submissive in a Christian way. I never interfered in the lives of others in the congregation by giving advice and judging them behind their backs.
I have known some fine men who were bullied and humiliated until they stepped down as elders. Or some who smart enough to turn down the "privilege."
Truly, if any man or woman put on the qualities that Jesus was attributed with, no congregation would need elders.

Wayhey! Of course it is!
Naa, seriously i think the Watchtower have got this one right. If women were allowed to be Elders, Mini servants etc there would be a competing & confusion of roles within the congregation and hence upset the structure somewhat. No offence ladies but i think this is one of the WT's policies that actually works.
