What reasons do you have about why the Witness religion is so crummy?
One main reason is that they SAY "we have the TRUTH. And no one else has it but us". They are liars. Hence they suck.

They are the quinteseential chronic alcoholics of religion that refuse to look at themselves despite waking up day after day with a hangover that they explain away as a touch of the flu. They know they are full of it. The world knows they are full of it. Everyone around them knows they are full of it, yet they convince each other that its everyone else that is at fault.

While it may be inappropriate to post on a thread using the proscribed "s" word [talk given by CO on such], I shall make bold and proclaim, "Amen, R's hubby!" As a still-professing Christian, I am enraged by the denigration of the "wheat" in other churches. I used to be part of the slam-the-churches hate-mill. Now, I'm ashamed and angry. Christ chose the BSs in 1918. Yeah! Right! BS!

Let me state that I don't hate or even look down on individual Jehovah's Witnesses. It's the religion and it's mind-control tacticts that I have a problem with.
What bothers me the most is the amount of credibility they have considering how much waffling they do on what they believe, whether they feel they are the only true religion, whether they are prophets or not, whether or not they have published false prophecy after false prophecy, and whether people need to deal with them for salvation. I don't care whether they exist or whether they change what they believe every new moon, but that is what they should be known for as well. Someone shouldn't get involved with them without knowing their storied past and outrageous claims up front. I think all of their literature should contain a warning that alerts the person to at least do a bit more research before choosing to align with such a willfully, deceitful group.
