Some of us here are still active and still have a magazine order.
What do you think will happen when we go to pick up our magazines?
Will the literature servant reduce our order of the 15th edition to 1 per person? What if you want spares? What if you lose your copy?
How many copies will it be? One per family or one per publisher. Can studies have a copy?
What do you think?
At the very least it means that Armegeddon won't be coming in 2007!!!

I wonder if this new arrangement might be a stepping stone to changing their mode of distribution of the 15th of the month issue. They could easily post the information on their website for download or email it to a designated person in the congregation. That would be a HUGE savings in printing costs.
They would be continuing their monthly magazine printing and distribution so they can remain a publishing company but substantially lower their costs.

Hi Ozzie, As of 1st January 2008, there will be one WT printed for the public per month. This will contain NO study articles. There will be another WT printed each month, which is written purely for the JWs. This will contain all 4 study articles, and is not meant to be placed on the Service, it should be for JW eyes only. I expect they will receive the same amount of study WTs as they do KMs, and that they will be distributed in the same manner.

I wonder too if they're not protecting themselves by having the borg's directives in a "for R&F eyes only"?

Glad someone missed me! Life, i.e. real life out of the borg, is real, real busy. Mrs Ozzie and i have never been more busy nor more happy. We've been involved in some community outreach as well as presentations to some organisations on our charititable involvement overseas. And Mrs O is back in training for swimming marathons but this time in the seniors!!
