Frannie bannanie, I'm just pondering what steps to take next musically with my hobbie of making music. I was in a band that played out on the weekend for the past 5 years, then I lost my day job and had to take new employment working weekends. Now I have the weekends off but I havent found a band after advertising for a month. I work midnights with friday and saturday off. I like my job as a corrections officer and I like my hours, midnights with Fridays and Saturdays off. It's just not condusive to finding a high caliber music outfit. So I guess I'm reflecting and counting my blessings. I cant get everything I want at the same time. I'm pondering on how to express myself musically in the available time I have.

It's an ice storm here, so I'm waiting for the inevitable power outage. I went to the grocery for my elderly parents today and cleaned their house a little, fixed them lunch, etc. I've cleaned here at home, cooked a beef roast in the crock pot, and taken care of the zoo (I mean our pets, of course). Took a nap too late in the day so now I'm AWAKE.
WOW, nsrn! You've been a busy little beaver today. I hope your power doesn't go out. My oldest son lives in Colorado and contracts snow-blowing jobs. They get a LOT of snow, too, and he's usually out in it. Good thing he's got a cell phone.

LOL, Lee! I got 'em off the net. The second one, I just melted some semi-sweet chocolate and dipped the cooled biscotti in it on one side and let 'em cool.

Welp, JB, it looks like it's time to hit the places where high caliber music outfits play on the weekends when you're off, eh? Other than that, Terry is doing something with music on the internet. Have you talked to him about it? It's pretty interesting and he's got some really good stuff out there.

Watching Jacques Coustau and wondering if I should cancell my third *date* with my ex. Quite addicitive, dating my ex, but probably very bad, I mean, he is my ex for a reason. But what if that reason is taken away? Can you fix so many wrongs by starting again? Dang it, those pinguins (from Jacques) have it sooo much easier
