My very first video camera (Sharp) I bought in the '80's had this effect, when it didn't have enough light. It really is cool, Purps. Nice pics.

Ever try time lapse photography? Maybe something with the stars against the horizon. Maybe a highway at night against a skyline. Fun with cameras,....

Hey Purps, try putting your camera on a tripod facing a freeway(or do it at the one with the bridge) and setting your exposure time to 10-15 seconds(if your camera will allow it). I think you'll get the result you're looking for. But the tripod is important!
