I am listening to the Rach. 2nd Piano Concerto right now. Rachmaninoff was a human of incredible accomplishment. Had he been a dub he could not have been allowed to do what he did, and the world would be worse off as a result.
In WatchtowerWorld(tm) such a talent would be stifled, yes crushed. In that world, talent is crushed, stifled and in short, not allowed to grow or bloom. It is all about selling books and magazines in WatchtowerWorld(tm), with the promise that one can make his or her talents flourish in some future world of paradise, which, unfortunately, never comes as predicted. Fortunately, Rachmaninoff was never a dub and he died long ago. Many other Watchtowerites of equal or near-equal talent to my friend Rach. have also died with their talents never developed nor displayed for us. They sold books instead and the folks they sold the books for don't give a rat that they are dead, and their undeveloped talents died with them. The WTS has new books to sell and new fools to sell them and they will not develop their own talents and will also die without reaching their human potential as long as they sell Watchtower books.
Would anyone like to tell me what talented people or especially world-class talented people (I mean, GOD runs that Corporation, fer heaven's sake) the WTS has ever produced due to their own nurturing because they care about nurturing talent and people who have it?
I will die waiting for an honest answer. In the meantime, masters like Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Mozart keep inspiring people far more than any Watchtower magazine could ever inspire them. Could you imagine any of those masters being resurrected and having to answer to a window-washer elder who thought it was his right to tell them to write Kingdom Songs henceforth?
