Sunday: Meeting from 9am to 11am then book study from 11 to 12 noon that same day.
Kind of kicks the crap out of the 'Day of Rest' don't it? How about this:
Sunday: From the time I wake up (say 8 am) I'm in bed with juice and coffee reading the local paper and the LA Times - funnies and all. Get up when I'm finished with the papers and go for a bike ride and out to brunch. Come home and take a nap. A hot shower, fix dinner, have a glass of vino, watch TV or read a good book, then bedtime.
Sweet, simple and God likes it. How do I know? He told me. Trust me.
Mary's incidental witnessing, I would change to a gathering at the restaurant buffet,
and on the way out, asking the waitress a Bible question so we can all count the time.
Monday -- Service meeting and Theocratic Ministy School from 1pm -- 3pm
Wednesday-- Public Talk and WatchTower study 1pm -- 3 pm .. service to follow until 5pm
Friday -- Book study 10 am
So then I could say that I have to work so I can't attend. :)
Sunday Talk: 9:01am - 9:02amCraptower Study: 9:02am - 9:03am
Bookstudy: 9:03am - 9:04am
Theocratic Ministry School: 9:04am - 9:05am
Kingdom Service Meeting: 9:05am - 9:06am
Service: 2 hours of um, 'incidental' witnessing and I'd like you to prove that I didn't.
I like your schedule Mary, can I join your congregation please?
I put in all my meetings and field service by the time I was 31. Now I am full of meetings and service for the rest of this life. I've told enough lies and spread enough poison.
