Hey buddy, I'm glad that you have an OpenMind.
I'll keep you in mind when I watch, because I've run across a lot of episodes that I remember thinking at the time that it would be something to see as a witness.

OK, The Bart of Darkness has some good stuff too.
The premise is that the temperature is soaring and Bart and Lisa convince Homer to install a backyard swimming pool. But, Bart falls and breaks his leg and can only watch the other kids enjoying themselves. So, he starts checking out the neighborhood with his telescope and sees what appears to be Ned Flanders killing his wife and burying her in the backyard.
The whole neighborhood stands around the Flander's family on their front lawn.Maude:Shocked, "Murdered!?"
Bart:To Ned Flanders "I distinctly heard you say that Maude was with God."
Maude: "Well that's right. I was at Bible camp. I was learning how to be more judgmental.
Bart: "But I heard you admit you're a murderer and watched you bury something in the backyard."
Ned Flanders: "Oh it's true, I am a murderer."
Pan to the Chief Wiggums shocked.
Ned Flanders: "I over-watered Maude's favorite ficcus plant and then I panicked and buried the remains."
Maude Flanders:Shocked "Oh!"
Ned Flanders: To Maude "I was hoping to replace it before you got home."
Bart: "But I heard a woman scream."
Ned Flanders: "Well now that I can't explain."
Office Lou walks up with a desecrated ficcus plant.
Officer Lou: "Found it chief!"
Ned sees the dead plant and screams with a high-pitched voice.Bart: "Oh, well, I guess that explains everything."
Gotta love the Simpsons man. They are so subversive. LOL
