yeah, I love a big crash, but dont like it when somebody is hurt. It ruins my day in fact. I'll always remember the day Senna died at Imola, I think it was in 1994.

'no chance of me going to Silverstone - unless I meet someone with a helicopter - its impossible to get in there'
Not completely impossible, I'll be there, my first live GP. :) I've been watching for a few years on TV though.
Maybe see you round SAB, (in among those thousands of people...!)

Well, they've let a woman in; so it's time to let a black man? in. He don't look black to me. He might have a little chocolate in him. You sure he's not Arab?

SOuth African Beef - did you wake up!!!
Can you explain to me why Button has to get out of the way of honda team mate Barrichello - this is the first race - neither of them has any points, surely they have an equal stab at this stage.
I have a sneaky feeling I might lose my money on Jenson tonight.
LAP 48, turn 14: Albers in Ferrrari is out - went straight into the barrier! Not a good start for Ferrari!

Hamilton took pole in his debut race at lap 40. Incredible! He has slipped back to second after a pit stop. Alonso is only a tenth of a second behind.
LAP 27: Button is going to get penalised for speeding in he pit lane which means my bet placed earlier on him getting a podium finish was extremely optimistic. Such a shame as he has a lovely car - Honda have removed all the sponsorship from it and there is a gorgeous picture of the earth. Honda really really are ahead of the game in marketing.
Finland's: Kimme Rakinnon holds firm in 1st place. (The commentators are relaying that he is a really interesting character - into other extreme sports and never stops talking on a night out.)

LAP 15:
Alonso has snuck into 1st place, but he hasnt had a second pit stop yet so Lewis Hamilton should still get a podium and I should make my money back - fingers crossed!
Mark Weber spun in the pit lane and slipped back to 15th from original placement at 10.

WOOOOOO! LAP 8 Coulthard in the Red Bull went literally over the cockpit of Alex Wurz. Very dangerous - but awesome to watch - it was inches from Wurz's head.

1st Place - Kimme Rakinnon In Ferrari (his first win since Japan 2005)
2nd Place - Alonso in MCLaren Mercedes
3rd Place - Lewis Hamilton in MClaren Mercedes- HURRAY!
Now I have to stay up a bit longer and see him celebrate his podium - its a bit early for me to open the champagne though!!!
