Just got my invite to the memorial.......

Alrighty then! So the door bell rings, I look, and see the wife of the elder who dfed me. She didnt recognize me at first.....so I let her do her thing. Her lovely husband was around the corner, and I didnt know he was there.

So, I did say I was dfed, didnt say this time "Im sorry, Im dfed". She looked at me, and said OH yes your ******! She looks to her smelder hubby and said this is ******, she is dfed. He peeks his head around the corner, looks at me and says "yes, I know!" WELL no shi* shirlock, you gave me the axe. He said Hi, and I just look at him, with a smart ass smile on my face, and didnt say Hi back!

His wife says, "well, I thought you might like to do your elder thing" He looks at her funny, turns to me and says "if you can make it that would be nice!" Then turned and walked away!!!!! Boy, I can feel the love, and the encouragement now!

(by the way, he is the one that was eating in a resturaunt, and him and his wife were sitting a ways away from us.......they got up and moved as far away from me as possible!)

Hi Buttlight, That sounds like a really bizarre incident. I sat next to a df'ed person at last year's memorial, he had no bible or song book so I shared mine with him, I knew he was df'ed, but it felt too cruel to just ignore him. Afterwards, he shook my hand, said thanks and departed quickly. An elder sitting behind me then said 'Don't you know who that was?' I said 'No' (LIE) He said 'Oh alright then' and then told me who it was, and to be more careful because he was df'ed. Love?

What's the point of going to the memorial of a cult that expelled you and ordered all its members to shun you? That where the cruel leaders of this cult also go and participate in the bread and wine as if they are part of the so called 8 000 elite of all the elite.

Its pretty sad that his wifey has to suggest to him to "do his elder thing", and he doesnt. I was thinking oh no, here we go.......long drawn out "come back to Jehovah" conversation........and all I got was a "hope you can make it" lmao!

Often in the past, I accepted the invitation, and went to a few meetings after the memorial too.

I guess it's the time of year, that they try to bring back inactive or df'd ones.

See, thats just so insane. If "Jehovah" were watching you share your bible with him, I would think he would expect you to do that! Sharing a bible is now considered "association" with the dfed ones? Just wrong, very wrong!

And whats up with the pic on the invite? Jesus riding a donkey, and a woman throwing a blanket down for the donkey to walk on lol!
