How Many of the GB Helpers are of the "Annointed"?

On the following page (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/130668/7.ashx) I linked to Barbara Anderson's thread about the "Nethinim" or "helpers," which I may have misunderstood as implying that most of those did not profess to be "anointed" in this role but the ones who were co-opted into the GB shifted to "anointed" along the way. According to the corrections by slimboyfat and euphemism later on this thread, this is not true of either Gerrit Lösch or Anthony Morris (at least): those claimed to be "anointed" before they became "helpers".

Thanks for the link. Gerd who also wrote a German book about his life as a JW knows Gerrit still from his time in Austria and he remembers him not as anointed.

The recent May 1st 2007 QFR article makes it clear that anyone IS s legitimite remnant if they so wish. No one can judge them. This is because the WTS is looking for additions to the 144,000(maybe now a symbolic number) not replacements

This 1935 doctrine change is really streamlining the whole WTS kabash.

Pahpa, just recently they told the "anointed" young and old serious and not so serious that they better not think they are someone special hinting to the other dubs that someone claiming to have something special is likely to be a bogus "anointed". But who are they to say somethng like this? Some members of the other (non GB) anointed may be better and more special than them. They better test them out to see what they really are before passing a judgement.

I think the Watchtower leadership is very sensitive to any possible rivalry that may develop in the congregations. Therefore, they occasionally issue cautions for those "anointed" who partake of the emblems. Obviously, from the warnings against "apostasy" that frequently appear in the Watchtower, the leadership at the headquarters is still reacting to the events that occurred in the early 1980s when prominent members, including one on the Governing Body, were forced to leave Bethel.

The paranoia spread to the congregations. And the Watchtower Society ended up losing some of its best and brightest members. I'm sure this process continues in the organization.

I talked to one of the "Nethinim" earlier this year. He is not anointed.
