  Have been on a bit of a business/pleasure trip out to Western Canada. Alberta and then BC.

  I did not have anything notable in Alberta, not that there isn't anything there, but I didn't have a chance.

  But BC is another story. This is the land of Kokanee Beer which is a classic brew made with the freshest water on the planet! Was mentioned on an earlier post but worth mentioning again!

  How about a Granville Island Brewing Co. English Pale Ale? Now for some reason at the Boathouse restaurant it is called Killer Whale Pale Ale. Had two today on tap in Vancouver!

  Went so well with Oysters on the half shell, followed by Pacific Wild Salmon done on the grill! Mmmmmm good!

  Stuff is great if you are able to get it locally!

  I used to live in Kitsilano which is next to Granville Island. So i will give the ?Kitsilano Cream Ale a quaffing tomorrow!

  As for the "spanky" well, maybe, if hubby hadn't drank a whole stinking bottle of Vermouth!! It was "snore" as soon as his head hit the pillow!! Oh well, that's what Sundays are for now!!

  Hate the taste of Heiny (Heiniken) "equestrio urinama". I like dark beer, porter, guiness etc. Only thing is it gives me monkey butt so I don't drink beer at all very often.

  LOL, That's a rather personal question, nvr. It has to do with the high yeast content of beer. It causes infflamation in the area surrounding the Most Holy of Holy's.
