Who do think is going to be destroyed at Armageddon?
When do you think Armageddon is really coming?
Question 1. a. (If they are honest) Only extremely active, baptised JWs will survive. Or b.(Skirting the issue with non-JWs) Only Jehovah knows.
Question 2. Only Jehovah knows. (But very soon.)
That's the answers I got, anyway.
1. All those that don't put their trust in Jehovah.
2. It is right around the corner.
I don't think that many JW's would say innocent babies, children, or good people. They would
say God's enemies, those who don't serve Jah, those who don't look to His Kingdom.
For the second question they won't say this year or next year but probably soon.
Everyone that does not trust in Jehovah
Soon, very soon!!! It's just around the corner

Mad writes: Any Christ sees as Evil & unchangeable.
When do you think Armageddon is really coming?
The Bible tells us to KEEP it close in mind- so the sooner the better! MUCH better!
The Mad Witness
Any Christ sees as Evil & unchangeable.
I'm curious Mad, how does a person know if he is in the clear from such judgement, what must he do?
answer to question 1: probably not me.
answer to question 2: it's expectance will have outdated me by then.

As an active JW, I have to strongly disagree with the responses so far. Many JWs in my congregation , and I am talking pioneers, elders, etc., believe MANY non-JWs will survive. There is a growing dichotomy between Bethel's party line and what the rank/file actually believe. Of course, there will always be elitists.
But I was stunned several weeks ago when a sister, who is originally from Germany, commented at bookstudy that we do not know when Armageddon will be...AND THAT IT MAY NOT EVEN BE IN OUR LIFETIME!!! She went on to say that she hoped it would be, but doubted it. This woman is the hard-core-of-the-hard-core brand of JW.
Another sister and I were having coffee at a local coffee bar. We were talking about Armageddon, and I said that I didn't think the WTBTS will sail through, untouched and protected, as they now predict. She responded by saying that her feelings are that "they (the WTBTS) will be destroyed at the outbreak." I reminded her that that is NOT what is taught. She looked at me and replied, "I guess I just never believed what they taught." This woman has pioneered for years, father's a CO, brother's an elder, daughter's a pioneer...

When I was still an active Witness I would've probably answered this way:
1) All those not part of Jehovah's organization. Those that are spiritually weak are at risk, too.
2)Fall of communism: OMG! soon! "Peace and Security"
Gulf war: OMG! Soon! War near the holy lands
Various other events would get the speculation going at the congregation.
It was always real soon, so one didn't want to be caught being spiritually weak when it all started.
