Today's Text is Scriptural Blasphemy

Hey gang, this morning as I was making some coffee I saw the "Text Book" lying there and decided I'd read todays text as I NEVER do, just to see what it had to say.

It was taken from John 15:12 which says..... " This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you".

Anyways, it goes on to say what Jesus told his diciples who asked him which was the greatest of all the commandments and Jesus answered them that "you must love god with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself".

Then it went on to ask if this law was also important to christians today and the comment was.... ( AND HERES THE KICKER) "Absolutely, the law of christ involves a heartfelt love of god and includes a new command.....CHRISTIANS ARE TO HAVE A SELF SACRIFICING LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER".

So rather than say christians are to love your fellowman, they twist the scripture and say christians are to love other christians.......and we all know by that statement they mean other Jehovah's Witnesses since they hold no regard for christians of this world. Yes, once again they play mind tricks on the publishers and tell them to love each other...rather than your fellowman and people of this world in general as was the case in the illustration Jesus himself gave with the Good Samaritan.

It's no wonder Jehovah's Witnesses are despised by many in this world with their self rightous attitudes and beliefs regarding their fellowman that is induced in them by a few old men from Brooklyn New York.

I hope your reading this WTBTS spies, I really do. I hope you too see how the Organisation cripples the minds of it's followers and takes away any love of fellowman they could have and should have. Truely pathetic.

I have come to realize just how extensive and manipulating the JW lexicon really is. They have repeatedly put forward new terms which have absolutely no meaning other than that which Watchtower publications give them.

One example of this is the term "spiritual pornography". This term sounds down right repulsive and it evokes a very visceral reaction just upon hearing it. But, what does it really mean? According to WT publications, it means any material (in print or electronic) which is critical of the Watchtower Society. In fact, any material which makes observations about the WTS that is less than flattering would fit under this term.

So, be repeating these cliches, buzz words, and catch-phrases in the "Daily Text", JWs may be further indoctrinated with organizationally programmed thinking. People like Joseph Stalin would have admired this kind of mass manipulation.

The way JW's understand that 'love your neighbor' command is that they must preach to them. If they won't listen, the love ends, and they shake the dust off their feet and move on.

That homeless man needs a Watchtower more than food or shelter, because though he may be dead tomorrow morning, if he accepts The Faithful and Discreet Slave as his savior, he'll wake up in tract-cover land, replete with gigantic vegetables and fuzzy panda bears!

Well spotted, in fact the dubs do not even have love for each other let alone for the rest of the world. It's that lack of love for each other that got me suspecting that not all was well with this org since a loveless society can't be the genuine thing which they so fanatically claim that they are.

Also reminds me of the words: "if you only love your own kind what have you achieved more than the Pharisees", that's something that went right over their heads.

Boy ain't that the truth! They are so afraid of making "friends with the world" that they wouldn't think of lending a neighbor a helping hand......at least in many or most cases.

This made me think about something. In Jesus' parable of the "Good Samaritan", he highlighted what it really meant to show love for one's neighbor. The Samaritan showed love for someone of another religion. Notice that in the parable, this display of love was not demonstrated in a spiritual sense (i.e. preaching or teaching). It was perfomed simply by providing physical aid to his fellow man.

So, for any Christian to claim that showing love for one's fellow neighbor only applies in a "spiritual sense" is false. Volunteering in a soup kitchen or giving clothing to the homelss shows just as much love for neighbor as knocking on doors and distributing literature. Perhaps even more so.

I agree they maybe should have clarified what WTBTS love is . They feel that they are loving mankind by not joining in wars and volunteering time preaching the good news and time brainwashing people with WTBTS dogma. The backbiting and harrassment that goes on during meetings is not showing love and perhaps they should mention that as well . I still wouldn't buy a used car from any of them ........................
